About us

The Wet Shaving Company provides a new concept in male grooming, combining traditional hot towel wet shaves with massage and a full range of male grooming treatments.

Created by Patrick and Jane Bryan, the Company seeks to bridge the gap between the barber's chair and the top class spa.

Patrick will use his 15 years experience as a professional masseur to bring a new dimension to the traditional shave, be it a deep tissue neck and shoulder massage, a reviving scalp massage or an invigorating hot and cold stone treatment.

Jane will utilise her extensive knowledge and skills in beauty therapy to provide facials (including our signature 'Natural Facial' treatment), waxing, manicures and pedicures alongside shaving.


The way in which our service differs from our competitors is that you can enjoy our shaves wherever you want. Our service is fully mobile and can be performed at your home, in your office, at your hotel or at any event, inside or out.

From our point of view this presented some interesting challenges with transportation and sterilisation of equipment, but these have all been addressed to the satisfaction of the Evironmental Health office. You can rest assured that we offer a safe, clean, professional service.

With the clients safety and comfort uppermost in our minds, the straight razors we use are of the 'shavette' type. These use half of a razor blade to ensure cleanliness and sharpness with each shave. We have spent many months experimenting with various combinations of razor body, razor blade, shaving brushes and shaving creams so that we are confident that you are getting the most luxurious shave we can offer.
